About Caasi
Last updated: October 2026
Caasi is an iPhone baby tracker built for both parents. It logs bottles, nursing, pumping and your breast milk stash (batch by batch, in the fridge and the freezer), sleep, diapers, starting-solids meals, weight and height. Every entry syncs in real time between both phones.
Who makes Caasi?
Caasi is made by Rayane Mehabli, a dad, who built the app and writes the blog. The app runs on iPhone and tracks one child per family for now; an Android version is on the way.
Where does the blog's guidance come from?
Every health figure (a duration, an amount, an age, a temperature) comes from an official page, read while the article is written, never from memory. For American parents, that means:
- the CDC, the American Academy of Pediatrics (HealthyChildren.org), the Office on Women's Health, USDA WIC Breastfeeding Support and the FDA;
- the Academy of Breastfeeding Medicine as a complement;
- the Department of Labor, the U.S. Code (FLSA) and the EEOC for your rights at work, such as pumping breaks.
When sources disagree, the article says so. The French blog is written separately for parents in France, from French sources: its figures are never copied into the English articles, because the CDC's storage times are not the same as France's.
How is each article checked?
- Sources are listed at the end of every article, with a link to each page.
- Each article shows when it was published, or updated when its facts were checked again.
- Official guidance always comes with its normal range: a baby is never compared to a standard, only to themselves.
- The blog reports what health authorities recommend; it doesn't give medical advice. For your own situation, talk to your pediatrician, your doctor or a lactation consultant, and call 911 in an emergency.
What about the app comparisons?
Caasi is the app we make, and every comparison says so. Facts about other apps (features, platforms, languages, sharing between parents) are checked on their App Store page or official website, and the article gives the date they were verified. Comparisons cover features only: no ratings, no reviews, no prices, nothing made up.
What happens to your data?
It's hosted in the European Union, never sold, with no ads. You can export all of your data and delete your account from the app's Settings. The details are in the privacy policy, and the service is described in the terms of use.
How can you reach us?
A question, a mistake in an article, an idea for the app: contact@caasi.app. Caasi is also on Instagram and TikTok, and the app is on the App Store.
