Terms of Use
Last updated: October 2026
Caasi is an iPhone baby tracking app published by Rayane Mehabli (contact: contact@caasi.app). These terms explain what Caasi gives you, what you can expect from it and what we expect from you. By creating an account, you accept them.
They complement Apple's standard license agreement, which covers downloading the app. What happens to your data is described in the Privacy Policy.
The service
Caasi lets a family of one or two parents log a child's day: bottles, breastfeeding, pumping and breast milk stash, sleep, diapers, meals, weight and height, reminders. What one parent logs shows up on the other's phone. The app also works offline and syncs as soon as you're back online.
Caasi is not medical advice
- Caasi is a tracking log. It makes no diagnosis, gives no medical advice and doesn't replace a doctor, a midwife or any other healthcare professional.
- Milk freshness times are calculated from the times you enter and from reference storage durations. They help you stay organized; they don't guarantee the condition of the milk and don't replace a healthcare professional's guidance.
- A reminder may not show up (notifications turned off, phone off or in a Focus mode). Don't rely on it alone for a medicine.
- In an emergency, call your local emergency number right away, without going through the app.
Your account and your family
- Account: you sign in with Apple or Google. Caasi is meant for parents and adults who care for a child: you must be an adult where you live, or have your legal guardian's permission.
- Family: a family brings together two parents at most. The second one joins with the family code, shown in Settings. Each member sees and edits the child's whole log: only share this code with someone you trust with that log.
- Leaving: each member can leave the family ("Leave the family"), and one parent can remove the other. Only the parent who created the family can delete it ("Delete the family"), which erases its whole history, for both of you.
- What you enter: you only log the care of a child you look after, and you remain responsible for what you write.
Free period and Caasi Full
- Free period: a newly created family can explore Caasi for free for 72 hours, starting from the first entry logged. This period belongs to the family: it doesn't start over when the second parent joins. A family created before this model keeps the period it was offered.
- Caasi Full: after that, logging opens with a monthly or annual subscription, or a lifetime purchase. A single purchase unlocks the whole family, for both parents. The price is shown in the app before you buy, in your currency.
- Payment and renewal: payment is charged to your Apple account when you confirm the purchase. A subscription renews automatically for the same length unless you cancel it at least 24 hours before the end of the current period; the renewal is charged within the 24 hours before that end. You manage and cancel the subscription in your Apple account settings (Settings → your name → Subscriptions).
- Free trial: when the App Store offers free trial days, their length is shown before you buy. Unless you cancel at least 24 hours before they end, the subscription starts and the first charge is made. The app tells you the date.
- Restore purchases: on a new phone, or if the unlock doesn't show up, "Restore purchases" finds your purchase without paying a second time.
- Refunds and withdrawal: purchases go through Apple, which alone collects the payment. Refund requests are made to Apple, at reportaproblem.apple.com. In the European Union and the United Kingdom, you have a 14-day right of withdrawal, exercised with Apple under its terms.
- When access ends: if the subscription ends, logging locks for the family. Your log stays readable and exportable, for free.
Your data
What you enter belongs to you. You only allow us to store it, sync it and show it to the members of your family, for as long as it takes to run the app. At any time you can export your data (Settings → Account & data → "Export our data") or delete your account ("Delete my account"). If you created the family, deleting your account also erases the child's log, for both of you. The details are in the Privacy Policy.
Fair use
By using Caasi, you agree not to:
- try to access someone else's family, or Caasi's servers by any means other than the app;
- disrupt the service, copy it, decompile it or resell it;
- use it for unlawful purposes.
In case of a serious breach, we may suspend the account involved, after warning you, except in an emergency.
Availability and changes
Caasi evolves: features get added, changed or removed, and an app update may be needed to keep using it. We do what it takes to keep the service available, but can't guarantee it will never be interrupted (maintenance, an outage at one of our providers). If Caasi were ever to shut down, you would be told in advance, with time to export your data.
Liability
Caasi is built with care, but no app is free of errors. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for decisions made solely on the basis of what the app displays, nor for losses caused by a lost phone or by a deletion made by a member of the family. Nothing in these terms limits the rights the law gives you as a consumer, including the legal guarantee of conformity for digital content and services.
Intellectual property
The app, its name, its mascot, its illustrations and its texts belong to the publisher. You may use Caasi to track your child's care, for personal use, under the terms of Apple's license agreement.
Apple
- These terms are between you and Caasi's publisher, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for the app or its content, and has no obligation to provide support or maintenance for it.
- If the app fails to meet an applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, which may refund its purchase price; to the extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation.
- Apple is not responsible for claims relating to the app (product liability, legal compliance, consumer protection, a third party's intellectual property): they are the publisher's responsibility.
- Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you.
Changes to these terms
These terms may change as the app evolves. A significant change is announced in the app before it takes effect. If you don't accept it, you can export your data and delete your account; continuing to use Caasi means you accept it.
Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by French law. If something goes wrong, write to us first at contact@caasi.app: we'll look for an amicable solution. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory rules of your country of residence and may bring the matter before the competent court.
